I am incredibly disappointed that the notion that "peridioles were ejected from the fruiting bodies by some sort of spring mechanism" was erroneous. I would have visited Arkansas to see that.::ping!:: ::poing!:: ::wheee!::Heh.
That brings to mind the image of hundreds of tiny, fungal ferrets on sugar highs.
